Celebrating the 100th Birthday of the Main Lodge – 1909-2009
Although Viamede has been serving its customers since 1870 it is a little known fact that in 1907 the entire main lodge was consumed by fire. It took just under 2 years to recreate the “Grand Lady” and in the spring of 1909 the lodge reopened. Since that day she has welcomed guests throughout the seasons.
