Carhartt Traditional Coat

I have to admit, I am a bit of a ‘clotheshorse’  which is kind of odd for a man I suppose, but….well…I am….I can’t deny it. There are certain types of clothes and boots that I really like to wear. When I show a particular product here it’s as much about me wanting one myself as it is about me trying to sell it. In fact, whenever I write about a product it’s because I either own one or want one….in this particular case it is because I want one……

Perhaps it has something to do with my interest in the outdoors and the cottage/camp life and therefore I recognize the need for good quality, rugged, and practical clothes, and perhaps it is only because I am a child of the consumer age, and I am easily convinced that I need something…..well…..that is probably true, because I am convinced I need a Carhartt Men’s Arctic-Quilt Lined Sandstone Traditional Coat

This rugged and high quality coat is constructed of heavyweight 12-ounce, 100% cotton sandstone duck, and features rib-knit storm cuffs as well as a corduroy collar with under-collar snaps to accommodate an optional hood.
One thing I really like are the two inside pockets, two flapped chest pockets, and two, front hand-warmer pockets. The split-back with bi-swing design plus pleated elbows make for ease of movement which is great for working around the cottage, or sitting in the duck blind, swinging on a pair of mallards coming to the decoys. What’s more, this coat is has a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation. Perfoct for a cold day at the camp.
This Carhartt Coat comes in an array of colors, but I like the traditional brown the best.
