It was reported in the Peterborough Examiner this week, A Lock Jam concert is set for Saturday at the Trent-Severn Waterway Island Park at Lock 34.
The free concert will feature Kirkpatrick Brothers, Bloodline Blues Band and Larry MacDonald of Montana Sky.
It takes place from 6 to 11 p. m., rain or shine.
Organizers are urging area residents to take advantage of this Labour Day weekend event by bringing their lawn chairs to this inaugural event and enjoy the free show.
It is sponsored by local merchants, in cooperation with the Fenelon Falls and District Chamber of Commerce.

Concert goers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item in support of the local food banks.
The event starts at 6 p. m. with music and activities. The bands will take the stage at 7 p. m.
Organizers say plenty of public parking is available within walking distance of the park.
